Women Rising Up!
THE INSPIRATION FOR FRENCHY’S FORUM
My relationship with my mother and father has shaped me into the wife and mother I am today. I adored my father, Harold, and was absolutely a daddy’s girl! I will primarily focus on the relationship I had with my mother and the relationship with my dauthers as this website is for women. My mother, Cheryl, was extremely creative and organized. She filled a large, four-drawer file cabinet of her writings, family photos, drawings and magazine clippings. She told us she was collecting all of it for us girls, and our families, to have someday when she would go to be with our Heavenly father. Of course, every file is in alphabetical order and there are files on pretty much everything you can think of. She started gathering all of these items in the early 80’s and continued until the end of her life in 2012. Growing up, I would look through the files and it brought a lot of joy knowing that all of her beliefs, advice, memories, etc., were in one place for us to enjoy; a legacy of who she was! That file cabinet was the first concept of a Pinterest for me! Each file was like a pinboard full of beautiful surprises; tons of “pins”!
Now, having daughters of my own, I wanted to create something similar to pass down to them and, I hope, for you as well! This website is for all women, coming together in celebration of who we are and realizing the importance of connecting, sharing and supporting each other! You will notice my last name is French, but that isn’t the only reason I have chosen such a bent towards the French culture for this website. My nationality is French (along with a few others) and my mother was fluent in the French language. She adored the French culture. We grew up having my mother’s friends from France visit while she served 6 course meals with laughter and beautiful French accents filling the air. My mother played French movies and shared with us the French way to do things. She loved that I married Nathan, a wonderful man with the last name “French.” In honor of my mother and grandfather, Irving, (he lived in France after our family escaped Romania during WWII), I have incorporated much of what my mother shared with me as a child. I, too, love the French culture and I am so grateful for my mother’s influence. As a Christian, I am honored to be half Jewish, thanks to my mother!
My relationship with my daughters is one of the biggest blessings in my life! Over the years, certain books, advice and life-lessons have helped equip me at each stage of my daughters’ growth. I would like to share some of what I’ve learned with you!
J. Danielle French
I was born and raised in hot, sunny Arizona. Never a fan of the extreme heat, I would ask my parents why we didn’t live in San Diego every time we went there in the summer. I would say, “people were never meant to live in the desert! If we didn’t make it livable, we would all just suffocate and die! Everything about Arizona is telling you to leave…the scorpions, deadly spiders, rattlesnakes and Cacti! You can’t climb a Cactus!” I greatly desired to live near the ocean. Now, fast forward several years…I meet the man of my dreams, cling a little closer to the Lord, get married, have two children, trust the Lord in an adventure and move to Washington state; live happily ever after! Ha! Well, something like that, minus a few hick-ups. Our family of four moved to my husband’s home state on March 21, 2008. I fell in love with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and it’s weather! No, I am not tired of the rain and never will be! Everyday, I thank God I get to live here. However, I have developed an appreciation for the beauty of the desert and always enjoy spending time with our Arizona family and friends. It’s the best of both worlds; living here and visiting the sunny state. I am careful not to visit during those months of 122 degrees of heat though!
After living in Washington for about three years, my husband and I started our church, The Rock Revival Center (TRRC). For over a decade now, I have enjoyed working with women through Christian Counseling and as a life coach. What started as a venue to bless others, ended up blessing me in so many ways and I am forever grateful!
Last year, my team and I held our first, annual ladies’ conference, BLOOM! It was such an amazing time! Click HERE for details for this year’s event!
My Love
My husband, Nathan, and I work together to encourage people and help them to be the best version of themselves through hearing the Lord and understanding His will. We’ve helped couples restore their marriages by giving them the tools they need to better communicate, understand one another and forgive. We love sharing what we’ve learned and believe that the best marriages are ones grounded in the Lord and covered in grace. We also believe that continual learning is key. We are still learning after 23 years of marriage! In 2011, we founded The Rock Revival Center and Nathan French Ministries, shortly thereafter. We love doing ministry together and also supporting businesses through prayer, Christian counseling and prophecy. In 2018, we held our first annual, Awaken the Planet event at the Tacoma Dome. Nathan speaks all over the world inspiring people to step out in faith, hear the Lord and get set free! He has authored three books and loves coaching people as they walk out their faith.

Georgina May, “Georgi”, is also part of my inspiration for Frenchy’s Forum. We had to get a Frenchie! The Lilac Frenchie on my logo is actually a photo, turned into a graphic, of Georgi.
