Frenchy’s favorite foods.

Frenchy’s favorite Travel tips.
One of the best tips I can think of is to get TSA pre-check or Global Entry clearance to greatly improve your airport experience. Other tips:
Pack:
Ear plugs & eye mask.
Extra ID, cash, credit/debit cards and keep them separate from your wallet/purse in case they are lost or stolen.
Filtered bottle water - save money and the environment by not buying bottled water.
Scarf or sarong - it’s a great makeshift towel, sun protection, eye mask, a wrap for conservative countries and it’s great for carrying stuff.
Suncreen - Bum is my favorite.
Be patient and laugh. Detours are sometimes divine appointments! Let go of stuff you can’t control.
Cook your own meals whenever possible.
Eat away from tourist attractions.
Get travel insurance.
Schedule tours/attractions early to avoid crowds.
Slow down. Be realistic in your planning. Give yourself extra time to explore, experience the town you are visiting and observe their culture, etc. Don’t over-plan. If you are taking a trip to a place you’ve never been to, you may not know how much you will like an area you visit or a new activity. Plan a starting point, 1 or 2 activities then give plenty of time for you to make adjustments to your plans as you are experiencing them. Flexibility is a blessing!
Take lots of photos!
Try new things even if you’re a little anxious about them…the more you do, the quicker that fear fades away.
International Travel:
Don’t judge lifestyles or customs of others. Practice empathy and be an example of love to all you meet on your trip.
Master a few important phrases in the spoken language of the area you are visiting.
Pay the extra fee to get a passport card and keep it separate from your wallet or purse in case your passport is lost or stolen.
Read up on the country you are traveling to prior to getting there.
Write down the address of your hotel and any pertinent information. Keep the written information in your purse or wallet in case your phone’s battery dies.
